BIO
Details
My childhood was spent watching my father build our home with his own two hands and my mother is an incredible artisan of crafts and food, especially sweets.
I have a passion for teaching that draws me into classrooms like a tractor beam. I believe fine art to be a visual language just as intricate as spoken or written words. My students are guided to answer for themselves creative questions which will develop their own visual language.
I have a Bachelors of Fine Art from the Laguna College of Art and Design in Laguna Beach, CA, and a Masters of Letters from The Glasgow School of Art in Glasgow, Scotland.
I have traveled the earth to see it’s art and learn about the inspiration of the individuals who created it. I have no profound statement about what art is. The answer to that question has eluded me. All I can say is, I love art. I explore art. I feel art. Art runs through my veins and drips from my senses. Nature makes its own art.
